Two pole telecom / signal relay, polarised, 2 pole changeover / 2 Form C / DPDT
The original BT53 relay was manufactured by Fujitsu, a relay which became a classic telecomms. small signal relay. This relay is now obsolete and very difficult to source.
Original datasheets for the Fujitsu BT53 and BT53/W are no longer available, the data has been derived from the more popular, later, Fujitsu FBR46ND series of telecommunication relays. The datasheet is downloadable below.
Originally manufactured in coil voltages ranging from 1.5V to 24V dc, the most popular coil voltages used at the time in the telecomms and control industries were 5V, 12V and 24V
